The studio has extensive experience with heritage items of local and state significance as well as dwellings within heritage conservation areas. Beyond a sensitive and respectful design philosophy we also guide the process authoring Heritage Impact Statements where appropriate or coordinating with Heritage Specialists were vital.

  • Gladesville Drill Hall | 2020 (built 1900)

    • Significance: State

    • The last remaining NSW example built by the colonial government prior to Federation converted to residential use

    Victoria Hotel, Moree | 2015 (built 1897)

    • Significance: Local

    • Rare example of an intact timber hotel from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period and in the vicinity of multiple State Significant Heritage Items

    Henry Street Five Dock | 2015 (built 1932)

    • Significance: Local

    • Rare example of early precast panel construction in the interwar period
